WE couldn’t believe it when Nathan Brown told us on Monday about his house in Australia having burned down.
You clearly wouldn’t wish something like that on anyone, especially someone as decent as Browny.
But I think what was almost as unbelievable was how calm Browny was about it all.
I suppose his attitude was that it was his problem not ours and he didn’t want it to have a negative effect on the squad.
To be honest, I think it’s probably had the opposite effect.
As a group, we’re all determined to rally around Browny and give him whatever support he needs at such a tough time.
He’s always been fantastic to us when the going gets tough, and now it’s a case of us doing our bit for him.
