UPBEAT Underbank Rangers will be delighted to return to home soil tomorrow.

And they will be confident of marking the occasion with a convincing victory as they look to get their Conference National play-off campaign firmly back on track.

Rangers arrive back at The Cross for tomorrow’s derby clash against Dewsbury Celtic after the most challenging couple of weeks imaginable.

Their last three games have been away to the top three sides in the competition – Celtic Crusader Colts, Bramley Buffaloes and Warrington Wizards.

All three resulted in defeats.

But despite having being forced to field weakened teams because of injury, Rangers were competitive in them all and still boast a very positive points difference of 91.

That could prove crucial as Underbank begin their final push for a place in the play-offs with this weekend’s derby game against their Kirklees rivals.

It’s a game the Holmfirth-based side should win, and that would then give them confidence for their last two matches against Featherstone Lions and Gateshead Storm.

Both sides are above Bank in the League table right now.

But if Rangers can secure two wins in their final three matches at play-off place should be secured.
