THE mouth-watering quarter-final tie between Challenge Cup holders Warrington Wolves and Super League champions Wigan will be screened live by the BBC on Saturday, July 23.

On Sunday, July 24, Hull FC will play Leeds Rhinos in a televised quarter-final which is a repeat of the 2005 Challenge Cup final, which Hull won by the slenderest of margins, 25-24.

The Hull FC v Leeds Rhinos tie kicks-off on BBC2 at 3.30pm.

The other two Carnegie Challenge Cup quarter-finals will both kick off on the afternoon of Sunday July 24.

St Helens, who have reached the semi-final stage of the sport’s oldest and most prestigious knockout competition in each of the last 10 years, will play Hull Kingston Rovers at Stobart Stadium Halton in a 3.00pm kick off.

Castleford, who last won the Cup 25 years ago, face 2009 finalists Huddersfield Giants at PROBIZ Coliseum on Sunday at 3.30pm.

Bumper crowds are expected at all four quarter-finals, which take place after encouraging attendances were recorded at the fifth round stage of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
