HUDDERSFIELD Giants' two Academy sides are braced for another tough weekend of action.
The Senior Academy are first up tomorrow with the home Championship clash against Leeds at the DRAM Centre (2.00).
Then, on Sunday, the Junior Academy travel to play Leeds at Stanningley (1.00).
It's a tough ask for both clubs, with Leeds having always been exceptionally strong at this level.
And it could again be a particular taxing afternoon for coach Paul Moses' Under 21s side, who have been struggling all year.
That's been due to the number of senior players who have suffered injuries this season, forcing last-minute changes to the Senior Academy line-ups.
Young Super League squad men Thomas Hemingway and Bolu Fagborun will once again be leading the challenge.
And there could be another run-out for senior centre James Evans, who has struggled to get back in the first-team frame after being struck down by a virus last month which saw him lose over 4kg.
"It's been really tough for Paul and his squad this year," admitted Giants football manager Stuart Sheard.
"He's not been able to get a settled side because of the heavy demands from the first-team. It's really taken its toll.
"So, a lot of the credit has to go to the players who have been turning out, week in, week out, and giving it their best shot for the 21s.
"With the season they're having, they really do deserve to see their luck changing soon."
