THE Giants' highly-acclaimed match day dancing troupe, G Force, have received a major boost.

They have just secured their own sponsorship deal from the emerging Crosland Moor-based IT technologies company WG &R UK Ltd.

The company have backed the club for the past 15 years, most notably in the shape of match sponsorships.

That support is expected to continue, but they have now decided to branch out.

"We're always looking to do something a little different to help the club, and sponsoring G Force seemed an excellent way of doing that," said WG & R managing director Steve Puckering.

The deal was put together by Giants commercial manager Stan Sharp, who believes the backing for the entertainers is money well spent.

"The club are very keen to make sure our pre-match entertainment programme is as professional as possible," said Sharp.

"One of the key elements in this package is the role played by G Force.

"They have an excellent reputation and it's obviously important they always look the part.

"Providing the clothes and equipment they require to make sure they always look at their very best doesn't come cheap.

"But thanks to WG & R that's no longer the case.

"It was marvellous when they stepped in to help the girls out.

"The club is proud to have G Force on its team and as far as we're concerned only the very best is good enough for them."
