Brett Ferres is in Huddersfield Giants’ 20-man squad for Sunday’s pre-season trip to Halifax.
The England back-row forward wasn’t named in the travelling party for last weekend’s clash at Bradford Bulls, which was called off due to a frozen pitch.
But after an extra week’s training after his delayed return to the club following his England commitments in last autumn’s Four Nations in Australia and New Zealand, Huddersfield vice-captain Ferres has been added to the squad to face the Championship club at The Shay this weekend (3.00).
Unfortunately, missing out against Halifax after being part of last week’s squad that would have faced the Bulls are youngsters Kruise Leeming, Nathan Mason and Ollie Roberts.
