IT IS going to be an interesting run in to the end of the season.

The guys who are out there on the field at the moment have been doing a wonderful job.

We have had a long injury list of late, but the guys who have come in have shown that they earned the right to their places and they have really stepped forward.

What is even more impressive is the way that some of them have adapted to the situation.

You look at players like Graeme Horne (pictured) and Scott Grix who have been asked to come in and play in different positions than they are used to and they have been doing a superb job.

But it some ways it is good that we have had our injury problems now.

Obviously along with myself, there have been the likes of David Fa’alogo, Jamahl Lolesi, Andy Raleigh and Keith Mason on the sidelines, but we have the break for a couple of weeks for the Challenge Cup and by then we should be back to strength.

Hopefully we will get a bit of luck and we will have had our run of injuries and have a full squad to work with as we head into the end of the season and the play-offs.

We will make the play-offs with a win on Sunday and, while I think the top four is probably out of reach, we have to consolidate our form and finish as strongly as we can going into the play-offs.

This time last season we were perhaps on a downhill slope, but I think we are in a position to finish much more positively this time round.
