HUDDERSFIELD Giants' Super League clash at London Broncos will be played on the Sunday after all!

London have now confirmed that plans to stage the fixture on Friday, July 22 for the benefit of Sky TV have been ditched and the game will take place on Sunday, July 24 (3.00).

It will be the first game back for the Broncos at their Griffin Park base for seven weeks and they are planning to celebrate the homecoming with a Giant Summer Party.

"We're definitely back on Sunday and expect it to be quite a day back at Griffin Park for our players and our fans," said Broncos chief executive Nic Cartwright.

The club is encouraging fans from London and Huddersfield to get into the summer spirit and dress accordingly for a `Giant Summer Party', with prizes for the `best dressed' up for grabs.

Unfortunately, the fact the match was last week switched to Friday and is now back on the Sunday will have a negative effect on the number of fans travelling from Huddersfield.

Many supporters who had originally planned weekend stays have now cancelled their bookings and will be staying in West Yorkshire.

The Vice Presidents Club are still running a trip, but it is now on the day rather than for the full weekend.
