JORDAN BROWN landed a last-second drop goal to secure a thrilling 29-28 Huddersfield Giants’ Under 15s Scholarship triumph against Bradford Bulls at Odsal.

The home side were the dominant force in the first half and led 22-4 before a memorable second-half display gave the spirited Giants side the victory.

As well as grabbing the match-winning point, Brown was also on hand to score two tries, while Jamie Stringer, Frazer Morris and Jordan Moore also crossed and Sam Wood kicked four goals.

And it was a win which delighted Giants Player Performance Manager Steve Hardisty.

“We’ve got lots of work to do, but it’s a real plus that they managed to get the result and I think it’ll do them a world of good.”

Huddersfield’s Under 16s were due to play Bradford immediately after this game, but it was postponed at the Bulls’ request
