THE Giants’ popular touch rugby summer campaign starts with an introductory night at Leeds Road Playing Fields next Wednesday (May 13) 7-9pm.
The Giants are still the only professional club to offer touch rugby all year round and supporters are urged to sign up to the minimum contact, maximum fun Summer season.
The summer season is made up of weekly fixtures every Wednesday until July 1 and are being run by community development manager Ryan McNeely.
Everyone is welcome and those interested can just turn up ahead of 7pm to register at the Zone, St Andrews Road. The cost per person is £4.50 per session and for further information please contact ryan@giantsrl.com or call 01484 484 155.
Meanwhile, the Giants are offering Town season-ticket holders the chance to watch a summer of Super League at the Galpharm Stadium.
The cost of the ‘Super Soccer 6’ package is just £66 for adults and £48 concessions for six games, with secondary school children paying £35 and primary school children going free.
