THE Giants have expressed their thanks to all those fans who have supported the club by buying wristbands in aid of the funds for seriously injured players Danny Scott and Matt King.

So far, around £500 has been raised on the back of the scheme, and fans can still help the cause by purchasing the fashion items from the Galpharm Stadium superstore and also at the Sporting Pride shop on Cloth Hall Street, as well as ordering from the club' on-line shop at www.stadiumsuperstore.co.uk.

Giants marketing officer Jonathan Wilkinson said: "It is excellent the people of Huddersfield have been supporting these funds, and as a club we want to help Danny and Matt as much as we can.

"The wristband craze has been sweeping the nation, and it is nice that things such as these can help boost the funds.

"The initial response we've had is fantastic."
