FIRED-UP ace Luke Robinson believes the Giants must leave nothing to chance in their bid to continue their spectacular start to Super League.

Third-placed Huddersfield entertain struggling CelticCrusaders tonight (7.30) looking to make it six wins from eight top-flight starts.

Head coach Nathan Brown’s men are red-hot favourites, with their visitors from South Wales having lost their opening six League fixtures.

But despite Robinson being full of confidence, the in-form 24-year-old scrum half is taking nothing for granted.

“We’re playing with a tremendous amount of confidence and we’re enjoying everything we’re doing,” said Robinson.

“They say when you win you’re confident, and when you’re confident you win. That’s where we find ourselves now, and it’s fantastic.

“We’ve tightened up our defence and are now beginning to gel more on attack.

“As a result, we’re really looking forward to playing every game, and tonight against Celtic is no exception.

“But the key to a game like this is not to get too carried away and become complacent.

“I suppose because of the contrasting starts to the season we’ve had, everyone will be expecting us to win, but we can’t afford to treat the Crusaders any differently to anyone else.

“We’ve prepared as hard this week as any week, and Browny’s great at bringing us back down to earth.

“Even though we thought we played well down at Quins, he’s been keen to point out our faults. And we all know that if we don’t show an improvement tonight, he’ll let us know!”

New Australian signing Liam Fulton will be making his Giants debut.

The 24-year-old is expected to feature at loose-forward.

“Liam’s looked impressive in training and I think he’ll be an outstanding addition to the squad,” added Robinson.

“We’ve already got some good combinations going on attack, with me and Kev (Brown) getting some fluency at half-back, Scott Moore impressing at hooker and Brett Hodgson making a massive impact at full-back.

“And now we’ve got another fantastic ball-handler in Liam in the pack.

“It really is exciting and none of us can wait for tonight!”
