DEPARTING Giants star Brandon Costin is fully determined to keep his emotions under control and lead the club to one final stunning Super League victory.

The inspirational Australian brings down the curtain on a three-season Huddersfield career tomorrow against Salford City Reds at the Galpharm Stadium (3.00).

During that time, the playmaker has established himself as Huddersfield's finest player in the Super League era.

And he is determined to finish his career on another high with a win which would guarantee the Giants seventh spot - their highest finish in Super League.

"I know tomorrow will be quite emotional," he admitted.

"But I can't afford to let those emotions get the better of me. I want to give it my very best.

"Everyone wants to go out on top, and I know that win, lose or draw. I'm going out on top.

"I still believe I'm in the top percentage of players in the competition and want to prove that one more time tomorrow.

"To finish with a win would be the icing on the cake and that's what we're all striving to achieve.

"I've had an excellent career with the Giants and loved every minute of it, and I'm desperate to sign off in style."
