IN-FORM Giants prop Eorl Crabtree is looking for the spirit that brought a stunning Super League win at Warrington last season to re-emerge for Sunday's return trip to the Halliwell Jones Stadium (3.00).

The 22-year-old prop was man-of-the-match as the Giants stunned the Wolves to triumph 26-20 against all the odds on May 2, 2004.

Huddersfield were expected to find the going tough after suffering that heavy 46-6 Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to St Helens at the same venue the week before.

But, instead, coach Jon Sharp's side bounced back in spectacular style, with Crabtree scoring a crucial try as the Giants secured one of their best wins of the season.

And the England international believes his side has what it takes to produce a repeat.

"We showed a lot of character in that match at Warrington last year," reflected Crabtree.

"I know there were some who doubted whether we had the mental strength to go back to Warrington and get a win after we'd suffered against Saints the week before.

"But the spirit within the squad remained really strong, despite the Cup defeat, and that shone through a week later.

"That spirit has certainly not diminished and we're looking forward to going back on Sunday and producing a repeat performance.

"Confidence is great throughout the club, both in relation to the team and as to the way we're all playing as individuals.

"And it's even better after last Friday's win over Widnes. Even though that was only our second win from five starts, we honestly believe we are already making our mark in the competition and in the weeks ahead we're only going to get stronger.

"We know that Warrington will be tough to beat, but we won't be going there with any sort of fear.

"We proved last season we can beat Warrington at Warrington, and we aim to do it again."
