IN-FORM Danny Brough is desperate to re-live his greatest rugby league moment with the Giants.

The 28-year-old half-back’s finest hour came in 2005 when his four goals and drop goal helped Hull FC beat Leeds Rhinos 25-24 in the Challenge Cup final.

Brough has already set his sights on repeating the achievement with the Giants, although he knows all the focus is making sure they produce the performance to beat Catalan Dragons at the Galpharm tomorrow (3.00) and take their place in Monday’s quarter-final draw.

“The Challenge Cup is a very special competition, and it’s given me the best moment of my career so far,” said Brough. “Playing and winning a Challenge Cup final is definitely one of the greatest feelings in the world, and I’d love to do it with the Giants. What’s so good about the competition is that you don’t get a second chance.

“We know if we don’t play well we’re out, so we need to go out there against Catalan tomorrow and get the win.

“We’re desperate to go as far as we can in the competition, and that obviously means going all the way.”

Brough believes the Giants are a major threat in both Cup and Super League.

“Form seems to be coming back now,” he added. “We obviously had that three-game slump when we didn’t impress anyone. But our form’s returning at just the right time. We’re still second in Super League and confident of getting into the quarter-final draw this weekend.”
