GIANTS coach Jon Sharp will send his players into play-off battle tonight ordering them to hold nothing back.

Sharp’s side heads to the east coast as underdogs.

But the Galpharm chief knows his players can rise to the occasion and that their Super League play-off adventure can continue.

“To reach the play-offs for the first time is fantastic,” said Sharp.

“But I know this group of players has the ability to go even further in the competition.

“Hull are a side in form and they will be determined to make home advantage count.

“That obviously makes tonight’s challenge massive.

“But we are very excited about going to the KC Stadium and it holds no fear for us.

“We are going there to give our absolute best. We don’t intend to die wondering.

“All I can ask for is for my players to give it their very best and, if the signs in training are anything to go by, then I think they will.

“If we do that then I know we will give ourselves an excellent chance of progressing.

“We’ve been on a massive roller-coaster ride all season, and because of making such a poor start to the season we’ve been playing knock-out football from the start.

“I am convinced that will stand us in good stead.

“We have developed a very tough mental attitude as a result of the early adversity and are now a stronger squad.

“We are prepared to fight for each other and do everything we possibly can to win together.

“We know we have the ability to beat Hull and get even further in the play-offs. It’s up to us to go out and prove it tonight.”

For Hull, second rower Willie Manu and full-back Motu Tony are set to return while winger Matt Sing is poised to make his first appearance since aggravating a foot injury against St Helens seven weeks ago.
