EORL Crabtree and Simon Finnigan have given the Giants a massive double boost ahead of Sunday’s home Super League clash against Harlequins.
The influential duo are both set for a weekend return after injury-hit starts to 2009.
“They are two top players and will add a great deal to the side,” said Brown.
“Eorl was probably our best player in pre-season games and can obviously play a big part in our team. He’ll give us a good lift off the bench, there’s no doubt about that.
“Simon’s also a quality performer. He’s a good hard worker who is prepared to do things for the team, and that’s the sort of individual you want.
“It’s going to be tough having to makes changes from the side that won at Castleford last week, but there’s no doubt having these two back is a big boost for everyone.”
All 17 who played at Castleford are available this weekend, while prop Michael Korkidas is also working hard to return after missing out.
Forwards Andy Raleigh (finger) and hooker David Faiumu (leg) could be back for next Friday’s trip to Wigan.
