IN-FORM prop Jim Gannon is ready to return as the Giants seek a second successive Super League victory over Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday (3.00).

Gannon missed Friday's 34-18 win over Widnes with a hamstring strain and will need to undergo a late test to confirm his fitness.

But all the signs suggest the powerful Australian will be back to lead the pack as Huddersfield look to repeat last year's heroics when the Giants won 26-20 at the new Warrington stadium.

Also available again after missing the Widnes win are utility back Stuart Donlan (groin) and hooker Sean Penkywicz (illness).

And with all those who helped conquer the Vikings having emerged unscathed, Giants coach Jon Sharp admits he is faced with a major selection dilemma.

"Apart from Ben Roarty (ribs) and Michael De Vere (knee), everyone is available," reported Sharp.

"It's a good position to be in, but obviously it creates problems for a coach regarding team selection.

"I was highly delighted with a lot of what I saw against Widnes, although there is always room for improvement.

"No-one let us down that night, so to think about changing a winning team is not an easy decision to make.

"But with the form Jim, Stuart and Sean have shown in the early part of this season, they are all very serious contenders for a return.

"At the end of the day, competition for places is what it's all about.

"And you can tell in training that everyone is working that extra bit harder to ensure they don't miss out."
