HUDDERSFIELD Giants are helping two students from main club sponsor the University of Huddersfield prepare for the trip of a lifetime.
Gareth Simpson and Matt Clark will represent Ireland in the Student World Cup in Australia this summer.
And Giants prop and Irish international Mick Slicker has been helping to put the pair through their paces so they are in the best shape to tackle the best students from around the world.
Simpson is a second-year Health and Sports Studies student, while Clark is a first-year Sociology and Criminology student.
The University is contributing towards their travel costs but the pair need to raise additional funds from companies or individuals.
Both players are on the books of Underbank Rangers, whose teammate Bobby Bahadori will be playing for Scotland.
