DELIGHTED Huddersfield Giants are hoping to follow the highly-encouraging victory against Catalans with a bumper attendance for their first home Super League game under new coach Nathan Brown.
That’s especially as they are playing Challenge Cup holders St Helens on Sunday (3.00) and there’s a special offer for season-ticket holders.
They can utilise their ‘Bring a Buddy’ vouchers in the ticket booklet to take along friends or family to what should be a cracking encounter.
The voucher allows cut-price admission of £10 and the club are urging supporters to buy in advance.
“We are already busy with ticket promotions for this opening home game of the campaign and are expecting a large crowd on the day,” said marketing chief James Brammer.
“It is always easiest and best to buy in advance from the ticket office to avoid lengthy queues on the day, and that goes for both sets of supporters.
“Tickets are on sale at Knowsley Road as well as here and the discounts are good for pre-purchasing supporters.
“At the Giants, all primary school children can watch for free, which means a family of four can enjoy a Super League game from as little as £33 when pre-purchasing.”
He added: “The season ticket voucher offer, in particular, helps cement our place at the top of the value-for-money stakes in the competition.
“We do have heavy incentives at the beginning of the season, as the hope is that those new to our game enjoy it and come again.
“Our loyal supporters have been great over the years in bringing people along and many have stuck with us. With a season-ticket base now well over 5,000, if they can each bring a friend then the numbers can soon become very impressive.”
