ALL the main winners at the Huddersfield Giants’ player of the year night show off their trophies.

A wide variety of awards were handed out to (back, from left): John Skandalis, Michael Lawrence, Leroy Cudjoe, Jamahl Lolesi, Brad Drew, Stephen Wild, captain Chris Thorman and coach Jon Sharp, with Chris Nero (left) and Kevin Brown kneeling down.

Wild (right) led the way with three awards – the Coaches’ Player of the Year, top tackler and most tries in a season.

Although not on the picture, Rod Jensen scooped the award for the most memorable try of the season, which was his vital length-of-the-field effort at Warrington two games ago, which helped the Giants ease closer to their first play-off appearance.

And a special award was handed out to the entire squad by the Giants board.

That was for the club’s record run of seven Super League victories on the trot – and nine in total with two Challenge Cup triumphs as well – and, of course, for reaching the play-offs!
