Yesterday was our fourth meeting, and Huddersfield have obviously won ever single one of them.

Had we just shared those games, it could have been us preparing for the play-offs, and not Huddersfield.

But, at the same time, congratulations to the Giants on reaching the play-offs for the first time, and I hope they do really well in them.

They are a quality side, who can make life difficult for any side in the competition. They certainly made life difficult in the second half with the way they played.

But I was proud of the brave way in which my players put their bodies on the line to keep the Giants at bay as well as they did.

In that second half we were really up against it.

Huddersfield had the majority of the possession, and our injury-hit side was down to just 15 men because of other knocks picked up during the game.

But we still gave it a really good go and didn’t make it easy for them.

Obviously, a fair amount of the focus on this game fell on Brad Drew and Paul Reilly, who will be joining us next season.

I thought they both played tremendously well, and that’s why I’ve signed them!

It couldn’t have been easy for them, but they both proved what quality performers they are.

Paul, as usual, never took a backward step, and Brad was yet again a quality performer on attack.
