BUSY members of the Huddersfield Giants' Squadbuilder committee are capitalising on this weekend's Tri-Nations clash at the Galpharm by staging a major event on the day of the game.
A big programme and memorabilia fair is taking place in the Charter Suite at The George Hotel on Saturday between 10.30am to 1.00pm.
There will be around 10 stalls, with two from the Squadbuilder, one selling books and programmes, the other Teddy Bears wearing the colours of GB, NZ and Australia and Giants merchandise. Admission is free.
The idea was spawned when lifelong Fartown supporter and Supporters Club vice president Joyce Rushworth donated all her collection of programmes and memorabilia to the Squadbuilder Fund.
Since then other fans have donated collections, including shirts, books, testimonial brochures, year books and matchday programmes.
The Squadbuilder stall has on sale programmes from 21 Challenge Cup finals, 16 Championship and Premiership finals, plus many semi finals and international games and club fixtures.
