IN-FORM Giants winger Marcus George will miss tonight's Senior Academy First Division clash at title rivals Salford (7.30).

The talented teenager, who has scored nine tries in his last two matches, has picked up an arm injury.

It's not good timing for the Giants, who are battling it out with the City Reds and Leigh to determine who will be crowned champions.

Coach Lee St Hilaire is also having to rely on a very young side, and is unable to include any member of the Super League squad due to the injury crisis at senior level.

A total of nine of the 17 in action tonight have been drafted from the club's Junior Academy Under 18s side.

But they include the likes of stand-off Thomas Hemingway, hooker Paul Mennell and winger Bolu Fagborun, who are already established players at the older age level.

Senior Academy: Williams; Fagborun, Senior, Robinson, Sutherland; Hemingway, Simpson; Mills, Mennell, Armitage, Hutchinson, Gledhill, Samuel. Subs: Watson, Hull, George (S), Wilkinson.
