EXCITED Giants officials are hoping the fans travel in force to next Saturday’s Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth-round tie at Harlequins.

Head coach Nathan Brown’s side warmed up for the capital clash with a stunning 46-6 home Super League win over Quins on Sunday, and confidence will be high for the cup test, especially if the Giants can win at Wigan tomorrow night.

Admission to the Quins Cup clash is free for all season-ticket holders, and the initial fans’ response to the offer has been high.

And Galpharm staff are confident there will be a strong claret and gold showing at The Stoop.

“This Challenge Cup offer for the fourth round ties is fantastic and it’s great to report that there’s already been a very positive response from our fans,” said Giants marketing chief James Brammer.

“We are already confident we’ll have some very strong backing on the day, and that could make all the difference in the world.

“Even though we secured an emphatic victory against Harlequins last weekend, everyone knows this Cup tie is going to be very tough.

“And I know how much the players appreciate the support they have been receiving this season, both home and away, and how much of a lift it can give them.

“We really are aiming to make next Saturday a very special day.”

Fans wishing to take advantage of the offer should bring their season-ticket book to the Galpharm ticket office and staff will exchange the Challenge Cup voucher at the back of the book for a ticket.

For non-season ticket holders, tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Again these are available from the Galpharm ticket office.

Travel coach is £27.50 and leaves at 8.30am from the stadium and 8.45 am from Bays A, B or C at the bus station – kick-off 3pm.Š
