HUDDERSFIELD Giants coach Jon Sharp will this weekend turn the spotlight on the three youngest members of next season's Super League squad.

Teenage trio Bolu Fagborun, Thomas Hemingway and Jason Southwell are in tomorrow's Giants side to face Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium (2.30) in the Junior Academy First Division semi-final eliminator.

It is the latest chance for Sharp to run the rule over his new first-teamers, and he believes tomorrow's experience will prove invaluable in their development.

"This will be a competitive and intense match, because there's a final at stake," said Sharp.

"It's on occasions like this that I will be looking to these three to take the lead. I expect this to bring the best out of them.

"They know they will all be working with me and the rest of the Super League squad next season, and creating a good impression now won't do them any harm.

"If they want to progress in the game they will have to get used to playing in games of this intensity week in, week out."

Hemingway and Southwell have already secured full-time Super League contracts for next season, while the club are negotiating with Fagborun over the mechanics of his contract.

The 18-year-old winger, who has made three Super League appearances, began a business degree course at Bradford University this week and he needs to be able to combine training and studies.
