HUDDERSFIELD Giants are hoping their Super League summer promotion for Town fans proves a big hit.

With Town’s season now over, the sole focus turns to the Giants to fly the flag for Huddersfield until August.

As a result, the Super League club have tabled an exclusive offer only to Huddersfield Town season ticket holders to watch the Giants in action for the six games at the Galpharm during football’s close season.

The cost of the ‘Super Soccer Six’ package is just £66 for adults and £48 concessions, with secondary school children paying £35 and primary school children going free.

The initiative was launched by Giants managing director Richard Thewlis, who is hopeful it will prove a big hit.

“This is a great opportunity for Town fans to watch sport at the Galpharm Stadium throughout the summer months,” he said.

“The package offers great value to watch six exciting engage Super League games, starting with the Salford City Reds this Sunday, and is a further add-on benefit for Town season ticket holders from either the last or next season”

The Giants fixtures included in this special offer are the following home game:

Fixtures: Salford City Reds (May 17, kick-off 3.00pm), Hull KR (June 5, 8.00pm), Castleford Tigers (June 21, 3.00pm), Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (July 5, 3.00pm), Warrington Wolves (July 19, 3.00pm), Catalans Dragons (July 26, 3.00pm).

‘Super Soccer Six’ tickets are on sale now and available from the Galpharm Stadium ticket office, which is open from Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday’s 9am-noon. Alternatively the ticket hotline is 08704 444552.

The Giants are keeping their fingers crossed that the deal proves a big hit as the club look towards attracting an average crowd of 10,000 for the season.

The figure currently stands at 9,230 for the opening five top-flight fixtures, which included three five-figures crowds against Leeds, St Helens and Hull FC.
