HUDDERSFIELD’S Reserve side secured their first victory of the season with a 28-22 triumph over Hull FC at Laund Hill.
Led by experienced prop Darrell Griffin, the Giants ensured they came up with the perfect response to their opening-day defeat at Bradford.
But Griffin was upstaged on the night by younger brother Josh, left, who led the try-scoring with two well-taken scores.
There were also tries from man-of-the-match Elliott Hodgson, Richard Lopag and Tom Burton, while Ed Barber added four goals.
