HUDDERSFIELD Giants are celebrating the signing of another major five-figure sponsorship deal.

Dual Seal Glass Ltd have become the club's main away shirt sponsor and have also signed up to have their name on the back of the home shirt.

The deal coincides with the company's decision to relocate from their original home in Milnsbridge to far larger premises on Leeds Road.

And joint owner David Meredith is hoping the deal is the start of a longer-term link-up with the Super League club.

"We're already sponsors of Huddersfield Town and been executive members of the Giants for a couple of years," he said.

"But this is the first time we have become involved at such a high-profile level.

"We've initially signed for the season, but we hope it is the start of a long association."

The new deal was announced by Giants commercial manager Stan Sharp, who is delighted another Huddersfield company has come on board.

"This is another tremendous piece of news and we couldn't be happier," he said.

The Giants, meanwhile, have agreed to send a side to play Halifax in a pre-season clash at The Shay on Sunday, January 11, although the game is still to be ratified by the RFL.
