ON-LOAN Giants scrum half Gregg McNally is continuing to set the professional rugby league world on fire.

The 18-year-old was signed by Huddersfield in November last year and was immediately loaned back to hometown club Whitehaven to enable him to continue his school studies.

But despite having to divide his time between training and playing for the Co-operative Championship club and working towards his A-levels, it hasn’t taken the edge off his ability.

In fact, the England Academy star, who will link up with the Giants at the end of the season for the next two years, has now scored tries in nine successive matches, including three hat tricks, for an amazing total of 18.

The teenager has failed to score a try in only one of Haven’s 11 matches this season and his overall total of 19 touchdowns is more than any other player in the professional ranks.

For good measure, he has also kicked 37 goals!
