TEENAGE pack man Ben Harris returns as Huddersfield look to maintain their 100% record at Darlington tomorrow (3.00).
The 18-year-old was on Yorkshire age-group duty last week as Mark Sowerby’s side beat Cambridge side Shelford 20-17 in the EDF National Cup first round to earn a tie at North I leadership rivals Kendal (November 17).
The 18st 6ft 5in Harris is back alongside Gavin Rhodes in the second row tomorrow, however, as Huddersfield go into battle without injured duo Hamish Pratt and Tom Sharrock (both shoulder problems) and the unavailable Chris Gough and Alex Shaw.
“We’ve got a few absentees, so maybe having to field one or two new faces in the Cup last week will prove to be a blessing in disguise,” said Sowerby (pictured).
“We are doing well so far and we are looking to keep our record going.
“No disrespect to Darlington but they are struggling a bit at the minute and, on paper, we should beat them.
“You can’t take anything for granted, but if we can roll on with the confidence of winning, the formula for winning and the feelgood factor of winning, then we should be okay. We are certainly ready to take them on.”
