GIANTS chief Nathan Brown is ignoring all the speculation over his future and is continuing to focus 100% on the job in hand.

The former St George Illawarra coach is still being linked with a potential move to Australian NRL club Cronulla Sharks.

He was earlier this season linked with the job at South Sydney and, given the success he has been enjoying at the Giants, is expected to be a suggested name for any other future vacancy that comes around.

Brown, who is contracted to the Giants until the end of 2011, insists there has been no contact with Cronulla, but admitted he would be tempted by a return to the NRL.

"I can’t guarantee I’ll be anywhere next year, but I haven’t spoken to anyone in the NRL," he said.

"I won’t be coaching anyone else in England next year, that’s for sure. If I’m here, I’ll be at the Giants. Another winter like last year, I don’t know I’ll survive!

"If something comes up in Australia then I’m obviously going to look at it because that’s the country where I live and where all the family are.

"But my one and only priority right now is focusing on the Giants and doing everything I can to make sure we build on what we did last year."

That process continues this weekend with Sunday’s clash against Super League leaders Wigan in Edinburgh.

Brown will be making changes to the side that beat Crusaders 38-10 in Wrexham on Sunday.

David Fa’alogo and Jamahl Lolesi picked up slight knocks during the contest and won’t be risked.

But returning for Magic Weekend will be in-form trio Martin Aspinwall, Andy Raleigh and Luke Robinson, who are back after being rested.

Opponents Wigan are also expected to make changes from their side that suffered a shock 38-26 home defeat to bottom club Harlequins a week ago.

But the Warriors won’t be including winger Shaun Ainscough who has re-joined Championship club Widnes on a dual registration but will not be allowed to play in next week’s Challenge Cup tie between the two clubs.

The 20-year-old was last week recalled from a loan spell with Castleford after the Warriors struck a crop of injuries and made his first senior appearance of the season for them against Quins.

Ainscough’s recall has been brief, however, and, after Castleford said they no longer needed him, he will be back playing for the Vikings this weekend.

"We are grateful that Shaun has the chance to re-join Widnes Vikings," said Wigan coach Michael Maguire. "The deal worked well for both parties earlier in the season and we are pleased the opportunity is available again for Shaun to work under Paul Cullen and play Championship rugby league."

Wigan meet the Vikings in the fifth round of the Challenge Cup at the Stobart Stadium on Saturday week.

Widnes have also acquired the services of Wigan’s 19-year-old prop Ben Davies on a dual registration after the expiry of his month’s loan at the Stobart Stadium.

Huddersfield’s Valvoline Academy side are in action against St Helens at Huddersfield YMCA tomorrow (2.00).
