THE Giants and Castleford are donating 500 Challenge Cup quarter-final tickets to servicemen and women as part of the popular ‘Tickets for Troops’ scheme.

‘Tickets for Troops’ has been running since November 2009 and offers free tickets to a host of live music and sports events.

And next Sunday’s Cup clash at the Probiz Coliseum has now joined that esteemed list.

“Like many others I have the utmost respect for the servicemen and women in the Armed Forces,” said Giants managing director Richard Thewlis.

“And having had discussions with Richard Wright at Castleford, I am more than happy that both clubs have made the donation of 500 tickets to what I feel has the makings of a fantastic cup tie.”
