NATHAN BROWN is looking to his pack to help secure a third Giants’ victory of the season over fellow Super League title-chasers Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium tonight (8.00).

Third-placed Huddersfield make the trip to tackle the second-placed Wolves having already beaten them 28-16 at Magic Weekend and then 29-10 at home in April.

The Giants also won on their last visit to Warrington in the play-offs of last year.

A dominant pack display was at the heart of all three successes, and head coach Brown knows his forwards must produce again.

“To give yourself a chance of beating such a good side as Warrington you’ve got to get a lot of things right,” he said.

“But first and foremost you’ve got to make sure your pack is up to the job, which it has been previously.

“It’s vital your forwards are physically good, because if you let the Warrington pack get on top of you, their backs will really go to town. That’s why they’ve been putting up some big scores.

“We don’t want that to happen to us, and with the forwards we’ve got we know we can go out there and get the job done, and done well.”

While Darrell Griffin is out, Luke O’Donnell is back.

“Luke showed what we’ve been missing and we’ll again be looking for him to lead us by example tonight,” he said.
