GREGG McNALLY could be back in action sooner rather than later.

The new Giants’ signing, who was loaned straight back to former club Whitehaven for this season, suffered a serious leg injury in his side’s 58-0 home defeat against Bradford Bulls.

He was stretchered off the field and went straight to hospital, with the fear he had suffered a break.

But scans have revealed he suffered muscular damage, although he will be sidelined for several weeks.
