Huddersfield Giants will welcome back full back Scott Grix for Sunday’s home clash with Warrington Wolves – but head coach Paul Anderson faces further injury worries.

Back rower Josh Johnson has been added to the casualty list with an ankle problem sustained in last weekend’s 32-18 home Super League defeat at the hands of Wigan Warriors.

He joins forwards Brett Ferres and Chris Bailey and three-quarters Leroy Cudjoe and Aaron Murphy on the sidelines and, while Grix is returns after a one-match suspension, Anderson admitted: “This is about as thin as we have been while I have been in charge.

“We are a bit pushed for troops at the minute, but we have Scott back and we will have a look at things and see which pieces fit into the jigsaw puzzle.”
