CASTLEFORD Tigers have confirmed the signing of Huddersfield prop forward Paul Jackson on a two-year deal.

The 30-year-old, who was in the Huddersfield team beaten in the Challenge Cup final last month and who started his career with the Giants before moving to Wakefield Trinity, is returning for a second spell at the Jungle, having made 31 appearances for the Tigers from 2003-04.

Castleford coach Terry Matterson said: "Paul has had a great season for the Giants.

"He is a real professional and brings us a wealth of experience and I believe that he will be a key asset next season."
