HUDDERSFIELD Giants back-row forward Jacob Fairbank has joined London Broncos on a month's loan spell as is available for their Super League clash at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

The deal was completed after Fairbank played for Batley on dual registration in their narrow 16-8 championship defeat to Sheffield Eagles on Thursday night, with the move to the Broncos giving the 23-year-old further experience at Super League level.

It also follows an earlier Super League XVIII loan spell for Fairbank at Bradford Bulls.

"With the Bulls having players back from injury they could not give Jacob the Super League game time we all feel he needs for his continued development," said  Giants Managing Director Richard Thewlis.

"They therefore returned him to us at the beginning of the week with excellent reports from his time with them.

"London are suffering some injury problems and are a club we have excellent dialogue with, so it's good we can again have a situation that works for everyone’s best interests, and they now have a quality young player and fresh face available to them for the next month.”
