THE Giants will face Warrington at the City of Salford Stadium in the semi-finals of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.

The Rugby Football League last night confirmed the venues for the two last-four clashes, with the Galpharm Stadium hosting the Leeds v Wigan tie.

Huddersfield’s game will take place on Sunday, July 15 at 5.30pm, exactly 24 hours after the first semi-final.

Both matches will be televised live on BBC2.

Tickets for the ties will go on sale exclusively to the season-ticket holders and members of the competing clubs on Wednesday, June 6, and on general sale from Monday, June 11.

Pre-purchased tickets for both semi-finals cost from just £18 (£9 concessions) or £20 (£10 concessions) on the day of the match.

And tickets for the Giants v Wolves clash are expected to sell quickly, with the Salford stadium at Barton boasting a capacity of just 12,000.

London Broncos chairman David Hughes will personally lead an inquest into the team’s bitterly disappointing performances this season.

The Broncos are joint bottom of Super League at the halfway stage after winning just two of their first 13 matches and crashed out of the Challenge Cup with a 50-14 defeat at Huddersfield.

That prompted a board meeting involving Hughes, whose personal investment enabled the club to spend up to the salary cap this year, fellow director Gerry Bouman and chief executive Gus Mackay and a decision to conduct a thorough review.
