Scott Grix has been named in the Huddersfield Giants 19-man squad for Sunday’s home Super League clash against Catalan Dragons.
But Shaun Lunt is again sidelined with the calf injury that has caused him problems for the past two months.
Giants coach Paul Anderson had hoped the Super League Dream Team hooker would be fully fit to resume after training with the squad this week, but he will now be hoping to return at Wakefield next week.
Full-back Grix is, however, back in contention after recovering from the groin injury against Salford a fortnight ago which was expected to keep him out of action for a month.
