NEW Giants signing Lee Gilmour is looking forward to putting something back into Huddersfield’s trophy cabinet.

Having enjoyed success at the top level with Bradford Bulls and St Helens, the 31-year-old Dewsbury-born Great Britain international is focused on helping take the next step forward for the Giants as they look improve on last season’s third place finish in Super League and a trip to the Challenge Cup final.

“The club has been building for a few years now and last season they proved just what they can do on the football side,” said Gilmour.

“Playing at St Helens I have seen what they can do but I know they are looking to take things one step further down the line.

“I know what coach Nathan Brown is looking to do and hopefully I can be a part of what’s been going on and help the club go on and pick up a trophy.”
