Huddersfield Giants will find out who they play in the sixth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup next Thursday morning on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.
Radio 4’s most popular programme, Today, reaches more than three million daily listeners. Focusing on news and current affairs, the programme’s team comprises of John Humphrys, Jim Naughtie, Sarah Montague, Mishal Husain and Justin Webb.
Humphrys, who has been a presenter of Radio 4’s Today programme since 1987, will conduct the draw with four-time Challenge Cup winner Martin Offiah just after 8.30am.
Between 1992 and 1995 Offiah was a regular at Wembley Stadium for the Cup final with Wigan. It was the 1994 final against Leeds where Offiah scored a memorable length-of-the-field try helping Wigan win 26-16 that day along with lifting the Lance Todd Trophy for his outstanding performance.
Eight winners from this weekend’s fifth round ties will join the top eight First Utility Super League teams from 2015 in the draw to produce eight ties that will be played over the weekend of May 6-8.
All fifth round ties are being played this weekend (April 15-17).
