CATALAN Dragons have become the entertainers of Super League over recent years.

The French club’s free-flowing style is paying off too, as they currently lie fourth on the league table with a game in hand over the teams above.

Catalans were dealt a huge blow this week, though, with star centre Seitamata Sa set to move to union club London Irish.

Despite that loss, their playing roster is pretty impressive, with England International stand-off Leon Pryce and New Zealand back-rower Louis Anderson added to an already formidable squad over the off-season.

Pryce’s signature is of particular interest, with the former Bradford Bulls and St Helens player becoming the first Englishman to test himself on the continent.

Their recent form has been a little hit and miss, after showing up Warrington with a 44-16 win on Easter Monday and then failing to turn up in defeat against reigning champions Leeds Rhinos, with on-loan Huddersfield hooker Shaun Lunt man-of-the-match on debut.

But the Giants will know it will be a difficult test tomorrow at the Stade Gilbert Brutus if they are going to avenge last year’s defeat.

TRENT Robinson has transformed the Catalan Dragons since his arrival last season.

Prior to his arrival, Catalan had hit rock bottom, finishing in last place on the 2010 ladder after a Challenge Cup final and a third-place finish coming under previous coach Mick Potter.

Robinson’s first priority in rebuilding the club was to change the culture, with the Aussie imports having to bed in with their surroundings and speak the language.

After an initial poor start to his tenure, that change of culture paid dividends as the club eventually finished sixth and Robinson was named coach of the year.

A result against the Giants will show further progress for Robinson’s Dragons.

AUSTRALIAN scrum-half Scott Dureau will be looking to break Huddersfield hearts again this weekend.

The ex-Newcastle Knight booted over a late drop goal to give his side a 13-12 triumph over the Giants in last season’s encounter in France.

Dureau’s flamboyant style epitomises everything that the Dragons are about, and the reigning Super League Dream Team half-back will wreak havoc against the visiting Huddersfield defenders if he is given time and space to work with.
