Huddersfield Giants half-back Danny Brough is facing a three-match ban.

The former Super League Man of Steel has been charged with elbowing Salford’s Logan Tomkins during Huddersfield’s 34-12 opening Middle 8s defeat at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Brough is accused of a Grade C offence for an incident that took place in the 63rd minute of the contest and it carries a ban of two or three matches in the event of a guilty verdict at tonight’s RFL disciplinary hearing.

A one-match ban would rule him out on Sunday’s home clash against Featherstone Rovers, two games would mean he also misses the following week’s trip to Batley Bulldogs and three games would also exclude him from the home meeting against London Broncos.
