Upbeat Greg Brown can’t wait to spend two more years knocking the Huddersfield Giants’ squad into Super League-winning shape.

The club’s highly-respected head conditioner has overseen Huddersfield’s pre-season fitness work with a new two-year-deal safely tucked away.

Former Moldgreen and Underbank player Brown  has spent the past three years in charge of knocking the Giants’ senior players into shape after joining his hometown club as rehabilitation conditioner.

And having helped the club make big fitness strides during his time at the helm, he’s excited about the prospect of making the players even fitter, faster and stronger over the next two years.

“I’m delighted with the progress the squad has made over the past couple of seasons,” said Brown.

“And I’d like to think I’ve played a small part in that process.

“Obviously, the players deserve most of the credit, because they’ve bought into the programmes we’ve put in place and have been prepared to put in the hard work.

“But now I’ve got this new deal it means I can focus all my attention of getting even more out of the boys for two more years.”
