HUDDERSFIELD’S Under 20s travel to Wigan tomorrow (11.30) with memories of Wednesday’s 50-16 Valvoline Cup defeat against Castleford Tigers still fresh in their minds.

Despite the efforts of man-of-the-match prop Adam Walker, the hosts were on the back foot all game.

The Giants trailed 34-10 at half-time, with tries from Joe Fox and Aaron Briggs and a Gregg McNally conversion making up their first-half tally, and were restricted to a single converted strike from Ross Peltier after the interval.

And they now face the prospect of an even tougher challenge against the Warriors at the Co-operative Community Stadium this weekend.

The club’s Under 18s side also face Wigan tomorrow, with a home Valvoline Academy clash at Huddersfield YMCA (2.30).
