HUDDERSFIELD Giants’ Challenge Cup quarter-final home clash against London Broncos will take place next Sunday at 5pm and be shown live on Sky TV.

Rugby League chiefs have finally confirmed the schedules for the four last-eight ties, with three of the four to be televised.

First up will be the Wigan Warriors v St Helens clash, which will be screened live on BBC1 next Saturday (2.30pm).

The BBC cameras will also be at Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan the following day when Catalan Dragons host Warrington Wolves in a match which kicks off on BBC2 at 3.10pm (BST, 4.10pm local time).

Sky Sports will then televise the Giants v Broncos tie, which means the Leigh v Leeds game on the Friday night (8pm) is the only one that isn’t on television.

Old Trafford will stage the final of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, while the Rugby Football League will follow the lead set by the Football Association by using Wembley to host both semi-finals.

Officials of the 14-team tournament announced in March that Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium will host the opening ceremony and a double-header to launch the event and also confirmed venues for the group matches and quarter-finals, but kept the big games under wraps after a delay in finalising contracts.

Co-hosts Wales will get the World Cup under way on October 26 against qualifiers Italy, followed by England’s group A clash with Australia.
