HUDDERSFIELD Giants will win tonight’s home clash against Catalan Dragons from the front.

That’s the prediction from confident coach Paul Anderson as his side bid to maintain their top-two Super League challenge (8.00).

Another John Smith’s Stadium victory would help the second-placed Giants keep pressure on leaders Wigan Warriors with just seven games of the regular season remaining.

Anderson is expecting another big physical battle against the no-nonsense French.

But the Huddersfield boss believes that if the Dragons try and win the game in the forwards they’ll come off second best.

“It’s going to be a physical battle, because rugby league is a physical game,” said Anderson.

“Everyone knows Catalan like to play it tough down the middle, and if that’s the way they want to play against us, that’s fine by me.

“I have complete confidence in this group of players, starting with our pack.

“They have frequently created a solid platform for us to build on and lay the foundations for victory. That’s what they can do again tonight, just like they did in France in April .”
