HULL KR are thought to be lining up an audacious bid for Huddersfield Giants full-back Greg Eden.

The Robins are thought to be on the lookout for a new half-back and it seems as if the 21-year-old Eden could be top of their shopping list.

The former Castleford prospect signed an extended contract at the John Smith’s Stadium only last summer, which means Rovers would have to pay a fee to land the player former coach Nathan Brown christened “the new Billy Slater”.

But Eden figured little in new coach Paul Anderson’s plans when he took over for the final third of last season and, now, it appears he could be on his way out of the door.

Eden’s clubmate Leroy Cudjoe spoke of his pride at being part of England’s 48-4 final Autumn International Series winning team.

“To be part of the final side against France was fantastic and rounded off a great Autumn for me,” said Cudjoe.

“To play in all three games was a brilliant experience and I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved. I feel I’ve got a lot out it.”
