STUART JONES is being backed to bounce back from his big Millennium Magic disappointment in style.

Despite a rock-solid display in the win at Hull KR 12 days ago, Jones was left out of the Giants side that beat Wakefield 36-12 in Cardiff at the weekend.

He was forced to make way for fit-again Robbie Paul as Huddersfield made it six Super League triumphs on the trot.

Head coach Jon Sharp admitted it was a very tough call to make.

But he has no doubt Jones will respond to his disappointment in a very positive way, with a return at Salford in Friday's Challenge Cup clash on the cards.

"It was a tough choice between Steve Snitch and Stuart Jones, who have both shown excellent form," said Sharp.

"But Stuart has been struggling with a slight knee injury which has been irritating him for several weeks.

"So the decision was taken that leaving him out last weekend was the best course of action.

"I know it was tough on the lad, but I also know his response to it will be positive."

Tickets for Friday's tie are now on sale at the Galpharm ticket office.

They are priced at £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.

There is also a special pre-purchase family deal, with a ticket for one adult and up to two children costing just £15.

Tickets will remain on sale up until 5pm on Friday.
